Bloody War

Bloody War

If life was all in black and white
If we could only stop this fight
We should stop blocking the light
Cause you can’t fly if you’re afraid of heights

All they see is a pool of red
So many tears have been shed
And a person no longer sleeps in a bed
And some no longer have a kid

Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide
Cause life is nothing but a speeding ride
Remember the goals you had in mind
Before you reach the other side

He woke up one-day home alone
Praying to have a signal on his phone
Looking around, his family was long gone
And his home is now in a war zone

Hurt and loss filled his heart
Slowly he was falling apart
Bodies and blood are now an art
While he tries to mend every broken part
