I was preparing for a battle, but I woke up to a war,
Blood and hatred like you've never seen before,
I had to find my way through all the bodies & gore,
Peace is gone, it's not here anymore..
Everywhere I look, all I see is pain,
Slavery is back, people held in chain,
Siblings fighting like Abel and Cain,
Tell me world, what will we gain?
I've seen kingdoms rise and others fall,
An orange talking about building a wall,
Country Leaders threatening to brawl,
And yet the human race is still ignorant to it all,
Tell me world, what will we get from this?
Other than spiraling into the dark abyss,
And hearing the seemingly wise men hiss,
Oh yeah! I forgot the world enjoyed being remiss,
