January was all about setting new goals,
Doing things the right way, no loopholes,
February was all about getting started,
Facing difficulties but staying warmhearted,
March was the beginning of a new chapter,
Paying no attention to a single snide detractor,
April was full of warm and genuine smiles,
A bit of trial and error, and switching styles,
May was full of change and little setbacks,
Sometimes it was too difficult to try and relax,
June was full of redecorating and silly fun,
And something long overdue was finally done,
July was all about redefining expectations,
Full of “good job” and “congratulations!”
August was filled with planning and schemes,
And talks about future plans and dreams,
September was all about reunions and friends,
Feeling love all the time not just on weekends,
October was spent focusing on my well-being,
Living life unapologetically was definitely freeing,
November was all about having a good time,
Exploring new places and things was sublime,
December was about turning 23 and learning self-love,
Completing all my goals was something to be proud of.
