This world passed insanity and went beyond,
People care about celebrities going blonde,
More than the bloody war that has spawned,
Apparently idiocity and ignorance correspond,
Children crying and covered in blood,
Others dead and laying in mud,
They now know how quick a grenade can scud,
And they've heard the sound of a body's thud,
Iraq, Syria, Burma and Palestine,
Places where everyday a kid steps on a mine,
But you're too busy drinking champagne and wine,
So entertained by models wearing Calvin Klein,
Where the hell is your humanity?
Have you lost all of your morality?
You need to snap back to reality,
Open your eyes and watch the human brutality,
