I used to think all love was the same,
That people left as fast as they came,
The emotions all fit in the same frame,
And that saying “I love you” was lame,
My childhood wasn’t always great,
Constant change for a clean slate,
Useless explanations came too late,
And sometimes I felt like an inmate,
I didn’t have my sister around back then,
I rate the fact that she was away a 0 out of 10,
I can’t imagine life without that comedienne,
Every time she makes me laugh, I’m born again,
She is the best sister I could’ve asked for,
And every day I think I couldn’t love her more,
Every hangout is better than the one before,
She makes me laugh until my sides are sore,
An independent woman who needs no one,
A badass that knows how to always have fun,
A beauty with confidence that can’t be undone,
If ‘best sister’ was a competition, she won,
She is lovely, sometimes silly but she’s so clever,
We have a strong bond that no one can sever,
When we need each other we’re there whenever,
She is my partner in crime, now and forever.
