I couldn't find heaven, so I raised hell,
I stood tall when everything around me fell,
They tried to jail me but couldn't find a cell,
So they locked me in a holy bethel,
They said my thoughts were impure,
That my soul was premature,
And that I was in need of a cure,
They shackled my mind and told me to be demure,
I was different, deemed an abomination,
They questioned my existence and creation,
Called me the devil's incarnation,
And was sentenced to an eternity of damnation,
All because I did not follow society's rules,
I refused to be another one of those incapacitated mules,
I wanted to be more than an item in their box of tools,
I wanted to be more than all those blind Fools,
They cannot push me to stand or fall,
Their perception of me won't mean a thing at all,
I am in control of my life, ready to brawl,
Stand in my way, and you'll be hit by a vicious squall,
I stand for my rights, undefeated,
I decide how I want to be treated,
I set fire to an argument already heated,
Your claims are done for, depleted,
I am free of burdens, Liberated,
All their judgements suddenly deflated,
This new found freedom has me captivated,
My mind and soul are unleashed, I am elated,
